Every Samsung Galaxy phone comes with a pre-installed loyalty app called Members. The problem? Only 0.03% of owners open it. To change that, we leveraged one of the most anticipated movies of the year — The Rise of Skywalker — and built an AR experience directly into the app where users could see all the iconic Star Wars ships in the sky. But here’s the cool part: Through an auto-update of the Members app, we silently dropped the experience into all of our 50 million phones. Overnight.
